Replacing Flat slide triangle nylon glides

After completing my residential refrigerator install i am now moving to my next project on my 2004 Itasca Meridian 39k. My drivers side flat slide is running a little rough and after checking the nylon guides on the rams I don't see any excessive wear or broken guides. But there are some triangle shaped guides that the slide rides on while going up the ramp. Theses are split and really worn. Has anyone tried replacing these without removing the slide. I called HWH and they said that they remove the slide to replace these but that winnebago does it in place.

I do know that Winnebago can replace all those nylon bushings without removing the slide. It took them two days at the factory in Forest City to do mine (I understand from a trusted contact at the factory that there are generally 'choice' words spoken during this process so I would not be prepared to do it myself).
