Replacing passenger side cab window

Anyone replaced the passenger side window in a Winnebago Voyage, I was contemplating breaking the glass in the fogged window and cleaning up frame so I could determine if I can cut the outer lip and install the new glass using silicon sealer or appropriate water seal to retain new glass window. Then looking to see if I can reattach the outer lip to lock glass in frame . This method if it works and can made to look good would save having to remove the entire side frame which is not a simple process due to amount of work and heavy weight involved. Having the old glass out of its frame would give a clear view of the structure and allow the removal of outer lip, just curious if anyone else has been crazy enough to try this ?

Is the window a horizontal slider or a vertical lift? Mine is a vertical lift and I drilled two small holes thru the sealant between the glass panes and placed a glue stick in the bottom track between the holes. This created two small openings to permit air flow under the pane and the moisture evaporated and the glass cleared to the point where you dont notice it. Not sure if this will work for you - I have done it successfully on the window on the side of the slide as well. It is really a no lose solution - if it isn't satisfactory for you, you can proceed with replacing the window. Unfortunately it can't be done for horizontal sliders. Good luck

Re my reply to Bob

Bob
so sorry I am a dumb a.. I jumped the gun on my reply you made it very clear about breaking through the seal to allow air to vent between glass. I'll have to look closer to see if I can access for drilling may be able to access on bottom left side I'll let you know when I get chance to look. Thanks again for the info.
