This has also been posted in the Workhorse section even though my chassis is GM P-30.

I have finally received wiring for a back up video system installed in my '98 Brave (32WQ). It is an obserview system that was installed by the previous owner. The previous installation used only a cigarette lighter plug to power the system. I now have the proper harness to hard wire the unit. Just can't stand the ugly plug and wire hanging down.

Can anyone suggest where to start looking for the reverse circuit? Or even provide a site where I might find a diagram to help me find the right wire? I suspect that the reverse switch may be mounted somewhere on the steering column?

I don't think I will have any problem with the standard hot wire, in fact there is likely an empty socket in the fuse panel I can use for that.

Thanks for the help.

Tom,

Have you by any chance checked the Winnebago drawing files to see if they still have your unit on file?

The pdf's they have are very good.

In fact, here is one address for the first automotive dwg for the 1998 F32 Brave
http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/Wiring.htm

If they don't, let me know I might be able to id the wire for you.

Mike

Thanks very much for your reply. I have saved the link and will look over the diagrams as best I can tomorrow. I think if I can locate the reverse switch (hopefully on the steering column) and identify the correct wire I will bo ok. Thanks again.
