I went to the what I thought was the Winnie website(winnebagosindustries) to find the phone# to talk to one of the service guys about a problem we have and a possible drive all the way to Iowa to get it fixed.
There was the line" ask a mechanic, winnebago' and I thought this is great, rather than spending time on the phone they streamlined this and I get an answer this way.
After explaining the problem and submitting it to the "Winnebago mechanic' they showed 4 mechanics were available to answer.
Sure enough an answer came, saying they needed a little more info and if I was satisfied with the answer I would be billed $18.00. The website was now Just Answer.com.!!!!!
Where is Winnebago in all this and why did they not tell me there would be a fee for giving answers before I submitted my question. I was given false hope.
I am furious about this deception!!!
Has anyone else run into this??
Ellen
