Perhaps a navel gazing question and a dumb one at that, but here goes.

First time I've had roof air. Does it matter which unit you run since they are both ducted? I know that you can only run 1 on 30 amp shore power so does it matter which one? My guess is no except that it would help keep seals etc from drying out if both were exercised over time? Thanks, Steve

When we are hooked up to 30A or only need to use 1 AC, we run the rear unit during the day and switch over to the front unit at night when sleeping mainly for the noise factor. Same sequence when using the heatpump side of each unit.

Hi Steve,

When we had two roof units, we would do the same thing as JC2 and it worked good. The other thing to look at is that the front unit may be larger that the back unit. If you needed more cooling and could only run one unit, that would be the one to run.

Happy Travels,

John

We normally run both. Set one at a little higher temperature than the other. Generally at night the bedroom is set lower than the front one.
