Roof fan
My brother in laws 2018 Vista has a vent above the galley but no exhaust fan. Has anyone added a Fantastic Fan or similar.
Seems like it should be standard equipment.
I知 sure it can be done.
I知 just wondering if anyone has done this modification

I'd give Fantastic Fan a call. They are a great company and I'm sure they could help. Perhaps even tell you were to pull the power from.

We added a Fantastic Fan to the vent by our stove in our Forza. It was pre-wired with a wall switch. Are there any unknown switches close by?

When you go over, take a measurement of the opening --- all the power vents tend to be 14 1/4 by 14 1/4. Hope you find that "unknown" switch -- that would be "sweet".

Sounds like they forgot to install your fan. Normally they don't install a switch without a fan. They do however run the wires for power in a lot cases.
Lucky you

Beyond any reasonable doubt Mother Winnebago failed to install your Galley exhaust fan. Our 2014 has one connected to the wall switch.
Hope you still have the receipt and can collect for the unit and your labor. During our build we had a multispeed remote Fantastic fan installed in the bedroom. Having lost the remote and calling Fantastic/Dometic/Atwood learned the installed model 6500/6600 was obsolete in 2013. They provided an upgrade kit to then replacement model 7350 at nominal cost.
Never trust Winnebago to do the right thing.
