I have a factory installed roof mounted spot light that occassionaly goes on by itself and won't shut off...It is remotely controlled...I have to go onto the roof and remove the bulb usually with a loss of my fingerprints as it is very hot....I am sure that even with the bulb removed, that it is still energized for the motion controls and thus is using some 12V even at rest....Does anyone know where the fuse or relay is located to completlely turn it off? thanks RKL

I have that same problem. First time it happened, the light came on at night while parked in a CG, it shined right into my neighbors bedroom. didn't know it until he came knocking. Had a friend climb up and remove bulb. If it is not synced up to the remote, I believe any transient signal can make it "do something"

The fuse on my 03 UA is in the 1st compartment on drivers side. Can't remember the exact label, like "Spot and (something else)". Problem is, it is one of the popout style of breaker and I don't know how to get it to pop, can't get at any wires behind it.

The manual for the spot says, to get the spot and remote synced, remove power from the light, then hold down (some key, I forget) and then apply power to spot. I don't want to unhook my batts just for it, so been at a stalemate.

McDuff...thanks for the response..I have the same pop out button fuse and it does the same thing...Guess I will keep the bulb out and test with the remote whether the light moves around and then turn off if possible....RKL
