Hello everyone! Brand new forum member and new RV owner. We just purchased a MINT 1994 WCG32RQ Adventurer model and are looking forward to the RV lifestyle.

There are only a few minor things to attend to maintenance-wise on this well cared for coach...

We discovered that the rear rubber antenna has broken near the sealed base on the roof. More specifically, right above the threaded end that screws into the base (see photos.) We found the broken piece still laying on the roof but have been unable to source out a replacement that actually fits at any dealership we have visited. Without the piece in hand our local dealer sold us p/n 090944-02-000. It did not have the correct threaded end to work with the base that was/is still attached to the coach. I returned the piece after having looked through the online parts catalog specific to our model # and noticed that p/n 090944-01-000 was called for instead of 02. When I returned to the dealer I was pleasantly surprised he actually had that part but when he showed it to me it had the same (wrong/smaller screw size) threaded base as the other and so would also not attach to the existing base.

I am hopeful, with the forums help, that I can still source out the correct antenna.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Two thoughts; Radio shack or some type of adapter to make up for the differing theads. Just thinking out loud here. Good luck.

Advance Auto sells replacement antennas that come with an assortment of base adaptors, worked for me.

Guess you didn't bother to read my original post where I reference that I have already bought and returned this part.

The threaded base on that antenna is not the same as my '94 original.

I have one broken pretty much the same as the picture above. I played with the radio and cannot tell that it affected reception at all so I have not tried to find a replacement...
