Hi, I know this may not be the site to ask this question but here goes anyway.
We are going to Sedona AZ soon and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for RV Parks in the Sedona area. We would like to stay in the Sedona area and take day trips from a base camp.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for the information.

Hi Rick, Gary & Jimandsue60,
Thanks for the information regarding the RV Parks in and around Sedona AZ.
We booked our stay at Rancho Sedona RV Park and are looking forward to it.
I have another friend who also recommended Rancho Sedona so were off next week.
Again my thanks to all for the help.

BobD,

If you have the time on this trip east give some thought to the Grand Canyon. Wife and I were up there two weeks ago and had a great trip. Parked the coach in Williams at the Railroad RV Park which is co located with "The Train". Took the train up to the rim (2hrs 15 min) Had ample time on the rim (3 hrs) and then a leisurly return trip on the "Train". Did not have to deal with the parking issues at the rim and made for a very leisurly trip with no stress for the driver, that would be me. Williams is only 60 miles north of Sedona right on 40. In either case, have a great trip to Sedona. There is an article on "The Train" in May issue of FMCA Mag.

Gary,

All depends on what class of service you want. We did 4 nights at the RV Park and two Parlour Luxury class train tickets and the finished bill was like $467. A bit pricey but still a pretty good package. You can check out them at www.thetrain.com
