The only thing I can say here is ----SEVERE DISAPOINTMENT!!!

Ancira Rv does not attend the San Antonio Rv Show, But they do put on a show at the same time. My wife and I visited the Anicra (Boerne) site during this time. The had serveral models for viewing, 2006- Adventurer (2) neither model we were interested in, a Journey, a Outlook, a sightseer and a Voyager. (6 units) (I believe they also had a total of 6 2005 models they were showing and recomemmend at the same time) (The main interest in my mine by the salepersons were American Eagle and Fleetwood as that was what they kept asking about my interest in, not finding the model (Itasca) we wanted available (this was already determined by us, we then attended the San Antonio Rv Show the same day.

Cost $16.00 for two to attend the show! Time spent reviewing the Winnebago/Itaca display, less then 4 minutes.

Winnebago/Itasca was represented by Crestview (Winnebago Buda Tx. and Itasca Selma Tx) (This is where it goes down hill very fast) Winnebago had one (1) model present--a 2005 adventurer, ball park $90,00 on sale for $69,000, (note the discount for a 2005 model) when I asked the Winne Rep where the 2006's were, he reply Quote "What did I expect)!!!!!!!" And then offered no excuse for the lack of 2006's. As to why he was there, I have no ideal. I would have been ashamed to have been there. (Sorry Driver)

No one has been a bigger supporter of Winnebago/Itasca than my wife and I, but I can't lie, we're now looking at Tiffin for our next MH.

I'm sorry, in my opinion, this was brought on by Winnebago, not the dealers-------

In my humble experience, Winnebago presentation at both of these displays were a embarrassment, Quote" the show of the year" Unquote

I think you are wrong ...from what you report, it was in fact brought on by the area dealers failing to turn out for the show. Winnebago doesn't go to local RV shows, dealers represent them (or fail to represent them) there.

Sounds to me like the dealers had a bunch of leftover 2005s they want to peddle before they order 2006 units.
Can't blame Winnebago if that's what the dealer chooses to do.

Appreciate the thoughts, but will restate (as above) that there was a Winnebago factory rep at the San Antonio show. Guess what really bummed my out was paying the admission to see last year's (1) model.

Best,
