We bought our kingdome in April 2001 and later we went on a 5 month for the winter. Everytime it rained 11 drops the tv was done. In may of 2002 another kingdome was installed and it has worked perfect no matter how hard it rained.

We experience the issue of weather affecting the satellite signal to our dish on our home. In the past we just switched over to our over-the-air antenna. With the changeover of the over-the-air signals to digital, we have experienced the same issue. We are thinking we will have to go to relying on radio stations for severe weather information.
