SCS/Frigette Keyless Entry

We've had nothing but trouble with our SCS/Frigette Keyless Entry. This was one of our major issues to be fixed during our recent trip to Forest City. As many know, SCS/Frigette went under and the assets were purchased by another company. I read somewhere that the new company was in the process of producing a replacement keypad for these systems. Factory Service Center disconnected our keypad and recommended we not connect/use the keypad. Anyone have additional information on when a replacement keypad / system may be available.

Nothing but trouble with mine. Been taken apart and reset 3 times. Its been working every 3rd time now, so I'm afraid to change the random code the techs put in.

We had ours replaced at the same time (04/26/2010) that you were at Winnebago Service. The one we have now beeps and the previous one did not. Ours would stay lit and not work. I would take the keypad out and unhook and wait a little and re hookup and it would work for a while.
Keypad-Entry Horizontal, part no. 151458-02-000 under warranty.
Off warranty may not be available. Wouldn't hurt to call and ask if any available.

Thanks Jerry -- I know that the Winnebago folks monitor this forum. My question to them is why was my key-less entry pad was not replaced versus being disconnected?? And, will Winnebago be contacting owners of coaches with this problem and advising them of the replacement system?
