Anyone know how to remove the unit from the all in one, This is the unit with filters, fan and light underneath. It looks as though the C/M should unbolt from the top and slide out or is it all one unit? Nothing works but the outlet is fine. We are hoping that it has a fuse inside somewhere. We will remove it and take it for service as it is out of warranty.

Beabop,
Take another look in your big black bag. I have an 8 page installation manual separate from the other Sharp literature.

If you can't find it, here's some highlights... There is a mounting plate secured to the wall behind the microwave. It's just a plate with a lip on the lower edge. The lower back edge of the micro engages this lip. The front of the micro then pivots up and is secured with 2 screws under the grease filters and 2 screws down thru the cabinet from above.

Be careful - nothing slides out. When you remove the mounting screws, the whole weight of the unit wants to pivot down in front. I've done this on my home unit (same mounting scheme) and it's doable by one person if you use something to prop up the front while you take out the screws. I used a very sturdy cardboard box of the right height. My home unit only uses the top screws/bolts, so I'm not sure what screws under the grease filters are for.

Hope you find the manual - a few pictures make it much clearer... Good luck!

If you can't find the manual in your bag, you might try the Sharp Electronics web site;

Sharp Site

You can input your model number and type of appliance to find downloads, usually including installation instructions. Most manufacturers now have this type of information available on their web sites.

Before you take it in for repairs, contact Sharps. Ours would only work for 59 seconds at a time. Took it to a Winnebago dealer who contacted the mfg and was able to get a mfg trade. Our unit was also out of warranty, however they stood behind it and gave us a new one.
All I paid for was the installation/removal.

There are two bolts that are concealed by the removable filters on the underside of the unit that go up at an angle towards the rear, and also two bolts coming down from the top - the shelf floor likely will have to be carefully removed to access these two. Make sure that when you take the last one out of the top that you have a helper to support the unit, it will pivot down from the bottom rear corner where it sits on a ledge of the wall mounting plate.

While on the Sharp Micro/convection topic, does anybody know the secret to keeping those silly little filters in place?

1. remove 2 screws at back lip under unit. 2. pull up false floor in cabinet above micro, remove 2 screws(be sure you have something to support the unit under it) 3. Take out filters loosen 2 long screwa, lift micro off lip. Thx to the godd advice we got here and from Winnie tec support and Sharp.
