I have had several issues over the past year, starting with the bedroom slide leaking. I took it to a rt 66 dealer for repairs had to take it back 3 times being assured 3rd time was a charm. We enjoyed the cool raininy unusual weather of Florida. The slide leaked, and after inspecting I found gobs of silicone sealant!! {after being told they replaced the seal} I called rt 66 about my find and they told me because it was over 90 days it would be a new claim. WRONG. I also had a problem with my HWH leveling system, and also the a/c started acting funny finding while hooked up to 50amp the board showed only 30amp.
I returned home APRIL 22,2010! I took it in for the leveling problem, and oh yea the BURNT PLUG WIRE problem, and normal service LOF, Safety check and I had the brake fluid changed. All went well untill Workhorse decided that because I am now out of warranty they weren't interested in repairing my problem. With help from the service rep they furnished the vent kit! That sounded ok untill I was told it would be $400.00 to install the kit!! I must say I was not at all planning to pay that kind of money for at most a 2 hr job. Well the service tech agreed to split the cost, so I reluctantly agreed. Yesterday after waiting 8 weeks the parts from HWH FINALLY arrived, I brought her home today.
While wating for the parts for the leveling system I took our Mh to a Winne dealer to hopefully get the bedroom slide leak fixed. Rt 66 declined to pay for the repair. I must say I can't blame them![ I will try to recoup from the silcone repair dealer} I did ask them why they would let a dealer hang their sign when they do such shoddy work. Did not get a good answer. I did take my problem to a Rt 66 dealer thinking that was the right thing to do, only to find they don't have a clue!! We just had a heavy downpour, and happy to say NO LEAK!!
Sorry for the long post-- I needed to vent! Oh yea the electrical problem was repaired under Rt 66 agreement. The Winnebago dealer did what I had hoped for.
She will finally get to rest in inside storage, out of the weather, just as soon as I finish giving her a much needed bath!

SO glad it's home. There's nothing like hi-priced low quality repairs. I was in business and had the policy "fix it right the first time". Very seldom did we have a do over.
Safe journeys

Had my coach 5 1/2 years and in all the times I have taken my motor home in for service, coach and chassis, I don't think I have ever been 110% satisfied with the work. Either didn't fix the problem, shoddy work, no attention to detail, price, etc. Unfortunately, I have learned to live with 95% and up satisfaction level. Oh well.
