Shower door won't close

We have an '04 Meridian 39K. The shower door won't close. In looking, I found that there is a black piece that looks to fit over the hinge so no water will leak. At the bottom one side of the black vinyl (?) piece has come loose and will not allow the door to close. We tried taking all the screws out around the door to take the door off; so we could slide the black piece out and back in. The door wouldn't not come off however. Has anyone had any experience like this and been able to apply a DIY fix? Help please!

TJM2831, First of all, Welcome to iRV2.com.

I am certain that your question will be responded to by one of the Meridian owners out there since several of them will have had this type of shower door arrangement.

The only trouble I have with our glass panel shower door is that it ocassionally does not like it when the rig is not level. The door becomes difficult to open and close.

Please come back and visit here regularly!

Hello,
There are 3 parts to choose from in the Winnebago Parts and Accessories catalog. One is the drip rail sweep 092574-01-708 which is the part I need (it goes on the bottom of the drip rail) and the other is a 1-1/8" vinyl sweep 089318-01-701. There is also another sweep 139047-01-710 all are on page 115.
