The fitting that holds the shower head tube broke. It looks like I'll have too get to it from the back bedroom wall to replace the broken plastic fitting.

Has anyone done this project?

Just completed the shower pex tube fixture replacement.

You do not have to go in from behind the wall. Under the decorative flange of the pipe you can remove a 4X4 1/2 inch inspection plate and replace the broken fitting. Be sure to put tape or a wire tie around the pex so the compression nut won't fall down out of reach.
