We have a 2008 39Z Winnebago. The light above the shower has burned out, and we are trying to figure out how to get this covering off. It is a flat cover lens that is flush with the ceiling, no screws visible, how does this thing come off? We have tried everything, any suggestions? Dave

Dave, I do not have your brand but I have some round flat lights in my MH. Does yours have an outer metal ring with a glass or plastic lens? If it does, the other ring unscrews counter clockwise. It is tight and not easy to grip to turn.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Jim, No there is no outer ring. This looks like a slightly contoured piece of round, clear plastic. No outer ring of any kind and no screws at all. It's about 4" in diameter.

Dave,
We have a similar type fixture in our shower and the 'glass' cover twist on/off, fitting into grooves inside the rim.

Is this it, if it is, you have to pull down on the whole fixture.

Thanks, that, after working with it a while, did the trick. The hard part was getting a grip on it.
