ga traveler Senior Member Ford Super Duty Owner Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Mcdonough, Ga. Posts: 1,383	It ill work without it. The reason for it is to keep the shower head from being dropped into the shower pan and drawing dirty water back into the fresh water system. If you are really careful about keeping the shower head in place, (on the wall) You can get by without it. __________________ 15 year motorhome service manager. 3 popups....2 travel trailers....5 motorhomes....loved them all.
