We have a 1999 Winnebago Ultimate Freedom pusher and recently the drivers side view mirror started wandering out the back in to the point where all that I could see was part of the drivers side and myself. Upon inspection, I discovered part of the inner housing that controlled travel on the arm seemed to have cracked and come apart. Then when I tried to find a replacement part (even a used one ) I was informed the company that made them was no longer in business and parts were NLA. Has anyone out there ever tried to replace the top mount mirrors with those that are found on most current motor homes? Any suggestions. I need help. Our bus looks good, and I don't want to resort to wires and turnbuckles if you know what I mean.

While driving our 2000 ultimate freedom the passenger side mirror fell off. We have been trying to obtain a replacement mirror for the last 4 months. Our repair shop says a replacement has been order through Hella Co. in Germany...the replacement mirror is supposed to be in 8 weeks. I can not understand how Winnebago can not find a solution to this problem...seems we're not the only ones that have experienced this problem. Let me know if you have found a suitable replacement.

Thanks for your offer, but I need the entire mirror arm, head, and bracket. I have the european inverted/hang down bus/coach mirrors. My original mirrors are located in an odd location on the very front edge of the side of my motor home which makes finding a replacement difficult. I am asking for my body shop to get approval from the insurance company to retro fit different mirrors on the coach...I don't know what's going to happen. Sure wish Winnebago Industries would have offered a solution.
