Sightseer brake control location?

I have a 2007 Sightseer 29R and am looking for a location to install the brake control. The only location I see that has room to mount the unit that will not be at too steep an angle and will be out of the way when I climb into the driver's seat, is directly under the steering wheel. That location may be hard to reach in an emergency if I have to activate the trailer brakes manually.

Does anyone have a solution? Any neat ideas for mounting that I'm not seeing?

Not knowing how big a control you have could it be mounted on wall just under the window or to the right of steering wheel may have to block it on surface of dash to mount there.

Nice looking motorhome congrats.

The controler is a Tekonsha Prodigy I had mounted in my pickup. I had forgoten how steep an angle is possible with this unit and it looks like I may be able to mount it to the face of the dash. If anyone has had problems with the almost vertical mounting of the Prodigy let me know before I start drilling.

Camping World installed my Prodigy under the dash just to the left of the steering wheel shaft on my 2005 29R. That location has never cause me any problems.
