I have a 2008 Winnebago Sightseer 35j. It sat for a couple of months and when I pulled it out to take it out the batteries were dead. We jumped the batteries which allowed the rv to start. Now that the rv is in running and everything is working, the in dash radio and the overhead tv will not turn on. I have checked the only 2 gfcis I can find which are at the entrance and by the dinette and neither are tripped. I have also checked the breaker and none of these are tripped.

I have checked the fuses under the dash as well and all of these are good. The plug in the bathroom is not working either so i figure these are on the same breaker.

I will be replacing the old batteries tomorrow.

Does anyone know a solution to get these to work?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The radio is 12v and, if it is that small TV that came in my '08 35J, it is also 12v. You need to run down the 12v circuit(s) that supply these and I think they are different ones. The radio is probably off the chassis battery whereas the TV is off the house batteries. There are schematics at the top of this forum that might help you. There are 12V fuses under the dash by your left foot and in the firewall area, outside. There are also fuses in the little compartment to the right of the door...you have to open the little panel. And there are 12v fuses in the same compartment where the 110V breakers are located.

Is your other 12V stuff working? Lights, stove and ceiling fans? Is the master 12v rocker switch by the door in the on position?

I'll look at mine later and holler if I can find something. (I replaced that TV with a 32" flatscreen and moved the little one to the bedroom in place of that 50 pound honker that it comes with.

Update: on my J there is a pop out 12v breaker labeled "Rear Mon/TV" on the panel under the fridge-pantry. Might check that. I'm betting the radio breaker is in that panel by the left foot. BTW: the TV I'm talking about up front is a Jensen 12v. On mine it is over the windshield...on some it is on the side over that useless barrel chair. I don't think that makes any difference in power source.
