power up, look on face of radio for serial # and phone #. Phone sirius and register. Unless you have free 6 months, etc., you will have to charge about 145.00 for the year's service on your Visa.
Be certain they don't automatically charge your card each year unless that is exactly what you want.

Sirius needs the specific Sirius ID # of your radio so they could see it on their system and activate the radio with you being the account owner.

SO, if you need to activate/reactivate your sat. radio, go out to your RV and turn the radio on. Be sure you are parked out in the open as the radio needs to be in view of the satellite when Sirius does the activation. Now, while sitting in your vehicle with the radio on and "sat" on your radio selected, call Sirius and they will tell you how to view the Sirius ID # number of your radio and activate your satellite radio to Sirius with you being the account holder.

Page 8 (read "Accessing you Sirius Tuner ID Number (ESN):" gives specific instructions on how to get the Sirius ESN# from your Magnadyne unit..

Bill: I like your 1st post better. This is what we did when driving the coach from Seattle to So. Cal. I sat on the floor talking to Sirus (seat belt on, of course..), while my friend was driving. They took me through finding the ESN button by button the whole set-up was done in less than 10 min.

My second post was made after I found out that the poster probably had a Magnadyne unit.. Second post pointed to very specific instructions on how to find the ESN# on a Magnadyne unit.. Unfortunatley, when you call Sirius tech support they often do not have a clue how to find the ESN# on your particular radio. Usually they can tell you but often enough they cannot assist in finding your ESN# as the original poster mentioned on a post he made at another RV forum.

I found the Sirius ready just meant the radio was ready... no antenna on my roof.

To get Sirius thru the OEM Magnadyne radio you need to purchase an add-on receiver (which has the Serial number) and have the antennea installed. When I purchased my Sightseer this spring it was approx $ 400.00 for the add-on and installation. I instead purchased a stand-alone Sirius radio unit ($ 129.99) and installed the antennea over the TV, which is front mounted on my 06 Sightseer. The cap being fiberglass with very little metal did not seem to weaken the signal. Now I can use the Sirius radio in the TOAD also with only the purchase of the plug-in base. Either way I would recommend the Sirius highly
