As a follow-up to my previous post on my slide gasket that came out of the track. I called Winnebago and spoke with Jay. Jay was extremely helpful and advised me to remove the metal L bracket running next to the gasket. Then use a spray bottle with detergent solution to lubricate the gasket. Being careful to insure the gasket inserts into the inner bracket, push the gasket back in place with your fingers, starting where it is still attached and work to the end. This worked great. The gasket slipped back in place and I re-attached the metal L bracket. The key to this fix is the detergent solution to lubricate the rubber gasket.

In re-attaching my gasket I noticed that my slide needs to be re-aligned. The gap where the gasket sits is smaller near the galley than the gap behind the driver's seat. This probably was the reason the gasket came out of its track. Unfortunately, I will have to take my coach to a dealer when I return from this trip to have the slide re-aligned.
