The slides on my 2004 Journey seem to have dropped or sag about a quarter of an inch. I base this on the paint stripes not aligning. I remember seeing a post on how this can be adjusted but my searches do not turn up any matches. Any info on how to adjust the slide up would be appreciated.

I don't know if your slide mechanism mfgr. is listed but you will find some slide mechanism service manuals here: Aero-Rv.com - Aerolite Ultra Lite RV Travel Trailer and Expandable Hybrid Campers

I've looked for the same information since replacing my carpet with Allure flooring but haven't been able to find anything here. I have HWH slides and the sense I get is somewhere between Winnie and HWH they aren't crazy about this type of info getting into the wrong hands and causing big problems... but that's just speculation on my part.

I'll be paying a visit to the HWH factory in a month or so and I'm going to see what I can find out first hand.

Good luck.

I was just at the Winnebago factory the beginning of the month. The only information I could find out about slide out adjustment is that they estimate the job at 4 1/2 hours labor, mine is adjusted all the way to the upper limit and extended warranty doesn't cover it. Please let us know if any information can be gleamed. It is a major hold up in replacing my carpet.

Never did a link before, but try this one...

Livingroom Slide Adjustment 02 Journey

This has info on the up and down adjustment for the slide. Takes about 10 minutes to do...
