Slide Out Kitchen Drain Hose Fitting Breaks

On our rig, the kitchen slide uses a hose similar to a hottub hose that has pvc fittings glued to both ends of the hose. The pvc threaded fittings connect to the abs plumbing with shower pan swivel fittings (ADAPTER - SWIVEL - 1 1/2 FPT X SPIGOT). Unfortunately the threaded collar on these fittings are pretty flimsy.

We recently had a leak due to the swivel coupling separating at the gray water tank connection. I have purchased and attempted to install new swivel fittings but they are no better than those being replaced. In fact both ends have pulled off while trying to reinstall the flexible hose.

Does anyone know of a work around for this problem?

I think that I have about the same set up as yours on my Ultimate Advantage, and have had the same problem, except on mine it always pulls away at the swivel connection elbow where it goes from the slide into the cabinet. What it did last time that it pulled loose. I replaced that section of the ABS pipe and elbow with an 1 1/2 inch rubber elbow and hose coupler. My thought process on this was to make that part that bends a little less ridged. Not sure that's the answer, but we will see.
