Slide out noise

we have a 2013 Itasca 36' Sunstar. The driver side room extension seems unusually loud when driving. I am comparing to a 2003 Winnie we had. It is impossible to hear the radio while travelling. Is this normal or should I go to the factory for service. Also I am thinking of in stalling a CB radio what is the best way to route the antenna cable?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

This is certainly not normal. Is it wind noise you're hearing or a mechanical rattle?

Either way, it should be fixed soon. If you're going to be anywhere near Forrest City there's no better place to get your Winnie fixed.

Best of Luck

Rick

Sounds like the same problem I had. I took the service manager for a test drive to locate it. What he had the tech do is open up the opening a bit so that the slide does not rub in there as much.
Basically the hole in the side of the coach is too small.
