Slide Out Nylon Bushing replacement 2007 Meridian

There is a great post regarding replacement of nylon bushings called Slide Out Nylon Supports (Repost)posted on 07-02-2014 at 01:00 PM posted by jimandsue60 under iRV2 Forums > THE OWNER'S CORNER FORUMS > Winnebago Industries Owner's Forum.
Here is the link:

The link above is what I used as reference to do my repair of my 2007 Itasca Meridian 36G.

The HWH Corporation arm stats are:
Model AP33726
SN 2778

The fist thing to do is remove the plate that is around the arm. Four bolts holds the plate on. use a 7/16 socket to remove.

Now you will see the top nylon bushing which will need to be removed. Remove the screw and then gently pry out the top of the busing. Note that the top busing is in two pieces. Once the top is removed you will be able to slide out the bottom part that sits on the top of the rail.

I used a bottle jack and a bunch of wood to lift up the slide compartment. You will need to jack up the compartment high enough to get the bottom nylon bushings out. You can push the old bottom nylon bushings up from the two holes under each bushing.

Here are the two new bottom nylon bushings installed and the jack retracted.

Now just put the top nylon busing back the way your found it.

Good Luck!

Thanks for re-posting this. When I was at HWH last summer they replaced the bottom plastic, but didn't do the top :-( I didn't notice that until I was a couple days down the road. The tops not broken, but I'd of paid the $10 bucks or so for the new parts, since they had to do the labor anyway.

I choose to reuse the original ones even though my kit came with a replacement nylon bushings for the top. The size of the original bushings (white) were much larger than the replacement ones (black). The configuration of the replacements where also different than the originals.

Here are the original tops that I reinstalled.
