Have a problem with the couch/dinette slide. It will work intermitently either oing out or coming in. A nearby dealer looked for 2.5 hours and a few calls to Kwikee and decided the "block" was broken and needs to be replaced. They ordered the part, and I picked it up. It is basically a nut with a flange extending from each side and an anchoring pin in each flange. The best thing is - it's made of plastic! It is located at the end of the screw and is what actually moves the slide out as the motor turns the screw or ram. Anyone else had a problem similar to this with the Kwikee electric slide?

Band Buds, did your Kwikee control panel give you an error code? I am having a slide problem (only on extensions) and I posted yesterday but no responses.

Bruce,

Read your post and did not respond, as my problem was with the front slide and only on the front motor of the slide. I had a couple of error codes flash over the past year at one time or another, but I can't remember the indicated problem. Usually, reversing the slide would get it either in or out and the codes would no longer flash. It wasn't until we had to manually push the slide in, and it didn't seal tightly that we sought help. I'm writing this from the waithing area of Joe's Marine, the Winnebago dealer in Sayre, Pa. They have installed the new block and showed me the retaining pins are larger on the new part. Hopefully, no more problems.

Jeff
