Sliding pantry problems

Greetings all, In my 34H Journey there is a sliding pantry by the fridge.
The locking tab on the pantry slide is shot and will not work. Has anyone
had this problem... sorry no pictures yet but I will post one later on today.

On our '99 Adventurer this catch got so that it would not hold.

I went to the cabinet hardware aisle in a big box store (Home Depot as I recall) and bought a small decorative brass bolt latch. I mounted the latch on the middle style of the pantry door ... and used a small block of wood to attach the plate to it ... and then two brass screws to attach this block to the face frame of the pantry.

When we were parked it remained "unbolted" and when travelling it was in the "bolted" state. It was easy to remember because we had to pay attention to the refrigerator door before we travelled.
