I had an intermittant problem with slow black water drainage. Yesterday I found out why! The disk cut from the tank to install the outlet nozzle was caught behind the drain valve. The worker who was charged with completing that job must have heard the lunch whistle blow before he finished the job.

I have heard that before from other coach owners. That is a problem that only the employees of the mfg. can change. Too bad there is not more pride taken in the work. How did you get the piece out.

I was able to reach in with a pair of snips and cut enough off to get it out in pieces.

That's been my major complaint since beginning RV'ing...quality control. It's not too bad when the owner has a bit of mechanical ability, but pity the poor guy who has to take his RV back to the dealer everytime something doesn't work correctly!

a friend had the same problem on a Newmar Mountain aire,,but it was in the fresh water tank....replaced the pump three times till the dealer found that the cause was the plastic cutouts were sucking up and cutting off the water supply.
