Snow damaged wipers

Good grief, look what I found this morning. Heavy wet snow wiped out my wipers. Anyone know where to get replacements?

Oh wow!.. Dont know about replacements, but make sure the wiper mechanism and the splines are ok...that driver's side looks bad...

I've got to admit even with our 300"+ a year of snow here I've never seen that before.

A few years ago there was a company giving away prizes which inclucded small "Wiper Buddy" plastic standoffs for the wipers.. I won 4 of them as I recall, still have 2 left.. I 'Tethered" (Tied) the two one to each wiper arm... Now when I park I lift the wipers and put these in place.. if I forget them simply turn on the wipers and they fall down on the tethers and let the wipers work.

My wipers are 5 years old, been through 4 MICHIGAN winters, and still work like new.

Thanks guys! Yes, my main concern will be the splines. Its been too darn cold to really look at this but given the position of the wiper arms, something had to "give". It would make my day to find that the wiper arm was the sacrifical lamb and not the underhood components. The idea of a wiper stand-off may or may not have helped in this situation. This recent blizzard laid some heavy, very wet, wind driven snow in short order then, turned to rain for a bit and back to snow. AKA= heart attack snow. I'm thinking a physical stop/block/perch for the wiper arm would have helped or complete removal of the arm itself would have eliminated this. Once we get a bit warmer here I'll have a closer look at the damage. Keep your fingers crossed

Looks to me like it's time to trade. Can't have a MH with weak wiper blades.

Peter, do you have insurance coverage for this?

I'm thinking if not, you could take them to a junk yard and look at the Ford/GM SUVs and Trucks...

- We've been through 3 winters so far and this type of damage is a 1st for us. Lesson learned.
-Trade? She's just getting broke in LOL.
-Never considered insurance. If it turns out to be a major repair I'll look into it.

10* this AM and won't even consider messing with this until we warm up some.
