solar battery charging

01 Journey. Does the solar panel charge the house batteries even when the house batteries are disconnected with the dash switch?

Yes that what it's supposed to be doing the disconnects just kills power after it leave battery and before it runs into the unit

Our 2001 Adventurer does charge the house batteries regardless of whether the switch position. I would assume yours operates the same way. You can be sure by consulting the operators manual. There is a section on the solar panel.

Operator Manuals 2001-2010

I tried to download a copy, but the the wifi at our current campground cut me off before it came completely through. The online manual is about 48 meg. It's the exact manual that came with the coach in printed form.
