Solar Charger not Working

I bought an 05 34H Journey a year ago and the solar panel/charger does not seem to be working. The red LED is never lit and there is no indication that the batteries are being charged according to the voltage readings. I have checked the circuit breaker in the front of the coach above the generator but that did nothing. Anyone have any ideas? I looked at the wiring diagrams but had trouble tracing the wiring route. Any information/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

One of the first things I would check is the connector under the refer roof vent. It is not a weather proof connector. Also this would be a good point to check the output of the panel.

That LED should be lit, but don't get too excited once it is, because it never kept my batteries alive for extended storage times. It's just not big enough to maintain 5 batteries.

I agree, the Winnebago solar panel is wimpy. It barely will keep a charge on the battery and if your doing even moderate use it will not keep up at all with a charge on the battery. REALLY serious solar charging units are available after market and you should expect starting costs somewhere in the $800 mark. An they get even more expensive.
