I tried to find my old post on how to remove spot stains from the glass windows but could not locate it. I did want to pass on how I got my spots off however. I tried everything that was suggested by many of you but to no avail. The spots looked like they were a liquid that had evaporated on the glass and left little round drop circles. I finally tried by hand to use a gentle swirl removing paste for paint and it worked but slowly. I then went and got my buffer and put the compound on the pad and went at it. It came off and was much eaiser than by elbow grease. Still a lot of work but my windows look new.

Zaino Bros makes a really good glass polish...can be applied by hand or buffer. Also, a cake of Bon Ami with a wet sponge followed by polishing with a soft cloth will usually get most spots off glass.

Once you get the spots off & the glass really clean, put Rain-X on the windshield/windows/mirrors to prevent spotting in the future.

I have used Bon Ami or Bar Keepers Friend with good results.

ichn, I tried that and it didn't work for me. It looked like something had dried on the windows and left residue in small circles that was almost bonded to the glass. Glass polish did the trick but took a lot of elbow grease.

Do you use washnwax? I do and it was ZIP concentrated that caused the little round spots.White vinegar did the trick for me after trying Windex and Invisible Glass. I guess I will go back to using the Mr Clean Machine for the windows. No spots with that and regular Zip WashnWax rather than the concentrate. Good Luck
