I got the old foggy windows on an 02 winnie adventure and the below
web site with phone # are no longer any good..
I like the price of $45.00 for the passenger side lower fixed but cannot
get a number to follow up on such.. I do know that winnie no longer
uses atwood, and maybe they have gone out of the widow business.
So I am looking for any help on any such thermal replacement window.
My friend just purchased one from local RV dealer for $260+ dollars,
out the door. I dont want to go there!

Thanks for any help! Pat

I helped a friend with the same problem. We put duct tape all over the inside of the passenger side window and left a very small area near the bottom clear. We then applied the point of a spring loaded center punch to that area. It only took one punch and the inner glass just crystalized and we were able to remove the broken pieces then cleaned the inside of the outer glass. Not sure if this will work in all cases, but it worked for us. I have read of other people on this forum doing the same thing with good luck. I don't think that not having thermal pane glass in one window will make much difference. I don't think the windshield is thermal. Anyway if it works it is a cheap fix. My friend is very happy with his window now. Regards, Jerry Kraft

Pat.......that window and other dual pane windows can be repaired. If you are near Florida there is a place in Hudson. Suncoast Designers.........Google them. I also understand there is a place on the West Coast too but I don't know the name.
Don't wait too long as sometimes the moisture inside the window can etch the glass and then it will HAVE to be replaced.

I have talked to the Hudson, Fl. owner and he said $260. each window.
As I will be in Tampa the first of Feb. I may just go for it. But I still like
the brand new replacement for $50 or $60. Just checking my options.
Thanks for the input. Pat

we broke out the inner pane on the passenger side fwd fixed window using duct tape and an automatic center punch. it came out mostly in one piece. we taped a large garbage bag to the trim at the bottom edge of the window. the hardest part was cleaning the small glass pieces out of the old window seal with screwdrivers, picks, and needle nosed pliers.
my dw used black silicone caulking to seal and fair around the inner surface.
the window cleaned up nicely with bonami.
that window is safety glass but is not tinted. we can live with that as now we can see the outside mirrors on the left side.

Pat, I would hate to bust your bubble but I doubt you'll find a new dual pane window replacement for $50 - $60. The price you were quoted from Suncoast sounds like it's right in the ball park. I had to replace a few on our 94 Bounder about four years ago and they were Atwood windows and with shipping they came to over $260 and I still had to pay to have them installed. We tried to take out ourselves but after taking out all the screws and trim around them they wouldn't budge. So not wanting to destroy anything, off to the dealership we went and let someone who really knew what they were doing put them in. Well worth the cost to us.

Pat, if you are inTampa, Lazy Days can repair your window. I think it was about $250 for one window. one year guarantee.
