I bought the Steer Safe & am happy. Installed it myself. If I can do it, you can.

I'm right here in Deming. The factory is only 3 miles away. Of course the campground that I'm in is gravel. Kinda does away with the self install mode

I installed the steer safe on my 97 Adventure 34 and it was a huge improvement. I think you will be glad you did it. Reduced the truck passing push by 80 to 90%. Straight track was also improved.
Good luck

I have Steer Safe installed and it works as advertised. There is only 1 drawback that I know of. Some folks have had to remove it to have the front end aligned.
Note - There was a change in 04 for the increase from 48 to 50 degree steering cut.
I also have both front and rear UltraTrac Trac Bars installed. My personal opinion is the REAR trac bar provides the most support.

I had the system installed yesterday. This morning I left Deming, Nm for Holloman AFB About 130 miles of winds that seemed to be 20- 30 mph blowing from both sides of the road. No white knuckles, no swaying, no trying to jump from one side of the road to the other and best of all, I couldn't even tell when an 18 wheeler went by, An amazing piece of equipment

I did not the traction bars installed. Just the springs on the front like Dale's. So far, I feel no need because in the wind I was in the other day, I had no sway of any kind.
