I am considering a steering stabilizer for my 2002 Journey DL. I would like to get an idea of which is better the Steer Safe or the Safe-T-Plus. Is there a general agreement on this?

Our customers prefer the Safe T Plus, especially on the Diesel Pushers.

Thanks,

I had the Steer--Safe installed. Now instead of white-knuckling it in the wind and dreading the 18 wheeler passing at near the spped of sound, I can sit back, relax, and drape one hand over the wheel and have fun. No more fighting the wheel! I just wish that I had put it on when I first bought this thing.

I had the Safe-T-Plus on my Adventurer which I had for 8 years and it was the very first thing I added to the Journey I bought last Dec. I won't ever be without one. I don't have a toad but if I do get one in the future it will have one too. It does a great job in wind etc and I had a right front blowout that could a been quite an ordeal for me an others without the Safe-T-Plus.

I have Reflex (a combination concentric spring and shock absorber, similar installation as Safe T Plus). I believe Safe T Plus is similar to a shock absorber and Steer Safe is a pair of springs on both front tires. I had mine installed after loading, corner weighing the MH and wheel alignment.

You will find out that each one is satisfied with the performance of the steering stabilizer they had installed into the MH. I am too. They do what they are designed to do, absorb some of the road shock going into the steering system and therefore having a stabilizing effect. Also, help with direction of the MH during crosswinds. Blue-ox has an remote adjustable one to deal with crosswinds. Most likely, what ever you choose, you will be satisfied.

Relax, drive safely, and enjoy God's creation.
