steps don't operate on 2006 Voyage 31W

My friend has a new to him 2006 Voyage 31W on the Ford F53 chassis. He says the steps quit operating. They worked when he got the coach but now do not. Kinda thinking it might be a blown fuse or possibly a switch. Where are the fuses located for this model? Any other ideas on how he might his get steps working would be much appreciated.

Could be the board that controls the steps.

Several things. The gears could be broken, mine did break! The motor could be bad. The control board could be bad! Being an older coach I had to get the new & improved upgrade version of a kit to fix my step! Good thing cause they are working great now! A tester could tell you if you have power an you fuse is OK! I noticed the step night lite was working so I was sure there was power to the step. Good luck
