I am a new member on this site but I am very impressed with the assitance that has been given to other members. I just came back from a wonderful trip to Key Largo and unfortunatley I put a siginficant scratch right down the drivers side of my 2004 Winnebago Adventurer along the stoarge doors passing through a narrow toll booth. I believe that I can repair the damage myself (i know how to paint etc.) but I have not been able to figure out how to remove the storage doors from the coach so I can work on it in the garage during the winter.

Can anybody help?

Remove the horizontal trim strip above the doors and you should find lots of screws that hold the hinges for the doors...remove screws and doors should come out,,,note when replacing the trim strip make sure to caullk along the top of the strip to keep water from wicking up into the fiberglass skin....which will hasten delamination...good luck RKL

NOTE: On my coach, most of the screws that hold the trim strips go through the hinges . You can see them when the doors are open. I'm pretty sure that the 02's are the same.

On ours, removing the horizontal trim strip requires a small screwdriver and the ability to be a contortionist. The screws are only visible from underneath the trim strip, a real PITA.
