Stress Cracks, do they exist on Winnebagos?

Both winnebagos I have had have had flawless bodys without problems except for some delamination on a small area on the first (98) adventurer.
I see some companies have had problems with sidewall stress cracks such as Tiffin and Newmar. Mostly occuring at the corners of slide outs.
Has anyone heard of any Winnebagos with this problem?

We've had two Newmar Dutch Stars, have never had any stress cracks. In our old RV club there were 6 Newmars (out of 12 Typs A's), none of them had any stress cracks. In fact I've never heard of any Newmars with them and I run a Newmar board (1700+ members) and none have been reported there either.

Oh yes. My 2002 with the filon siding developed many small stress cracks in the outer skin. I had the entire coach sanded, primed with high fill primer and fully painted last spring. No one would guarentee that the cracks would not reappear. If the light hits the right, I can see the small cracks even though they put 4 coats of clear over the base colors.

There are several here on this forum that have posted about stress cracks on their Winnie's.

I don't consider minor surface crazing in the same category as a "crack" where the sidewall actually opens up.

I recall a few ...think it was a certain model of Journey ...in the early 2000's that had problems with a stress-crack running our from the corner of the slideout opening.

Yes that is what I meant, cracks or splits in the fiberglass skin and backing. Not small checking or cracking in the gel coat only.
