Sun Visors / Radio / Compass

Well while traveling to the JETS game this past weekend I was retracting both sun visors at the same time, once they reached to almost their retracted position they stopped.. along with the radio and compass / outside temperature display.

I did a quick check of the fuses under the dash and found everything to be OK there.

I also noticed that the light on the driver door flickers when its on. The sun visors make a small amount of noise when the rocker switch is activated and the radio dimly flickers.

I'm wondering if I lost a ground?

Anyone have any similar experiences?

Gene,

Do you have push button fuses too? I remember that my 2003 Itasca Suncruiser had a whole bank of them under the steps.

The JETS did win

I did quickly check the circuit breakers, they all looked OK.

This weekend looks not so promising outside so I will be able to take a test light and wiring diagram and hunt the problem down.

Found it !!

It was the 20 amp fuse labeled "cig lighter".. Strange that this would power the above accessories.

Lesson learned, check all of the fuses when something does not work.

Thanks to all who responded.
