Sunbaked exterior - how bad is it?

Hi, I am looking at getting an 03 Suncruiser 35u with 12000 miles. Everything about the coach looks great except for the exterior. It is the white fiberglass gelcoat type exterior. From baking in the sun it has MANY hair line cracks. I was already to buy it until i saw the cracking. and i got cold feet. None of them look real deep. I searched the forum and it seems like it was a problem from 02-05 due to the scorching sun.

So how bad is this? Will it continue to get worse? if i take some compound and polish to it can i buff any of it out? it looks like it is more than a surface crack. So with everything else being in good shape is this a deal stopper? Is having it painted an option?

thanks for the help.

If you have the opportunity, and the seller allows, I would take it to a body/paint shop and ask them for an estimate, and then deduct that from the offer. Of course, I would tell the owner why the offer is less, and if you buy it decide what you want to do.

ok. that confirms my thoughts. No fixing it. Eithre live with it or paint over it. I suspect polishing it will make it stand out more. Thanks.
I think my gut was right. Ill pass on this one...
