I have an '05 Itasca Sunrise and I've not been seeing recent year Sunrises from Winnebago. Is it now a discontinued model or model name? If so, what is a comperable model name now produced by Winnebago (Itasca)? Or, is the Sunrise still produced and I'm just missing that bit of information? Thanks, Larry

I don't know what the replacement model is but I went to the Winnebao website and looked for old broshures. The last year they show a Sunrise is 2008. Itasca Motor Homes - Brochure Archive

they only made the Sunrise for a few years--I think the Adventurer was the equivalent Winnie model at the time---

I believe Winnebago Voyage(formally was a Brave)=Itasca Sunrise. Both have been discontinued as gas prices increased and RV purchases declined and Winnebago Industry cut back of the number of different RV's they were building. Several RV makers also went south, i.e. out of business. Then a Winnebago Adventurer (formally was a Chieftain)=Itasca Suncruiser.

The Sunrise is a great coach.

Hadn't looked much at the new ones 'till this year, went to the RV show.

It would seem the Adventurer/Suncruiser was the next model up the line in our vintage. A few more features on a slightly heavier chassis.

The Sunova/Sightseer just below. It would also seem the Sunova was upgraded and took the place of the Sunrise/Voyage.

The new entry level unit is the Vista/Sunstar. Nice floor plans, new features, but the don't have the full basement doors and they are on a lighter chassis.

If I was to buy a new gas coach Win/Itasca would be at the top of my list. The 35' Adventurer is a great unit. The 32H is very similar to my 31W. I really like my 190" wheelbase. It can go virtually anywhere a truck and camper can. If the rear can hang over it can park in a regular car stall in a parking lot. And it turns on a dime, you can actually u-turn it on a city street. Mine is on the 22K lb. chassis, same as they use for the Adventure/Suncruiser line now. And I really love my Workhorse! And my driver door!

My sister just traded their '09 40' Tour for the new 2012 42'. Nice unit!
