Can not get surround sound to work while watching tv, works with radio. I put the radio -Tv switch in Tv position, tune tv to sterio using the menu, only get sound from the tv speakers. I have a Sony Trinatron tv, factory installed. I am using direct tv. Vet Man

there is a switch on dash that allows you to listen to radio without key turned on. i believe its engine/house. switch to house.

Vet Man,

Do a search for my report on 3-06-03 DHS MTS and DHSMTS w/Qsurround Sound Report.

You system will only give you a surround sound when their is a stereo signal.

Vet Man,

"been amost a year trying to figure it out."

Thanks for posting that! I feel better now about the month it took me to find it! I knew it worked when I took delivery but spent a three day weekend fooling with every remote control I could find, to no avail!

I searched and read TomcatF15's report (nice job, BTW) and learned a lot but still did not catch on about the 'switch'. Finally went out to the MoHo with every manual, completely prepared for a multi day stand-off! I made the mistaken assumption that a 'Radio Switch' had to be on the radio? Like most things, once you know the answer it all becomes very simple and, in my case I felt pretty sheepish about it all!

Russ

P.S. My dash clock is not set either!
