I have a 2001 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage 40J. I am looking for new lenses for the tail lights and clearance lights. I was told by Winnebago that they only sell the complete light assembly. The lenses hve a dot number on them and also say Germany. Any ideas who may have them? Thanks

Hi Widget33 and Welcome to the Forum!

Hopefully, someone with the definitive answer will come along soon, but until then have you tried entering that DOT code into Google search to see what you get?

Are they broken or hazy? If hazy they can be buffed out just like headlights.

They are presumably from some car/truck of that vintage. Winnebago may be able to tell you which vehicle they come from. Your Guide to the Tail Light Codes may also be some help.

The front parking lights on my Winne were broken by rocks. I found they were originally used on 1999-2002 Pontiac Sunrise's and only came as a complete assembly. Winne wanted something like $35 apiece, I found them at a supplier in Washington for $5 each.

I just noticed that it only covers vehicles from 1930 to 1970, so it may not actually be of much use in this case.
