Drove our new '06 Adventurer 33V home a couple of weeks ago, and at the end of the 1-hour trip a horrible groaning/woofing noise started from the left rear tire area. Took it to the Ford dealer, they kept it over a week and did nothing. We rescued her, I searched this forum and learned others had a problem with a metal shield on the right, making a similar sound. Sure enough, found a metal shield with loose screws and tire tread rubbed off on the shield where it was intermittently rubbing on the tires. Many thanks to all who posted the solution!

This Winnebago Forum is probably "the" best single resource on the Internet to help you through your ownership experience if you have any questions at all. Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question - just those that have not been asked.
