Thermostat 00 lockout

This has been discussed before, but I question if anyone has tried this. Most of have received the "Choke filter" from Airexcel and It makes no difference.

The choke installed on the 12V Plus side of the line, but since the "ripples"
interference occurs on the negative or ground side of the system, what would happen if the choke was installed on the ground side?

Anybody out there have an opinion if this noise filter application would help?

I don't think it will help, the ground is shared by the metal frame of the RV, while the 12v (+) is definitely contained in the wiring. Interference can be caused by fluorescent light ballasts, electronics, even parallel wiring. A simple solution is to twist the wires, but a little hard to do behind walls. A choke can be a ferrite core the wire is wrapped around, like you often find on computer power supplies or cables. Others are more electronic in nature, using capacitors, resistors, etc.

You might need a better choke, search for 12v electrical chokes on Google and you'll find multiple sources. You could also check at any good electronics store.
