Has anybody tried to use the touch up paint that came with the rig? I want to fix a couple of nicks in the nose but worry that I'll screw it up as bad as I did a washing machine once. I 'm the only one that has to look at the washer in my garage but the whole RV world would see my handiwork on the nose of my rig. Any tips, techniques or warnings would be greatly appreciated.

My luck with touch up paint is the same with yours! It is really difficult to just drop a small drip of paint in a chip and have it look okay. I have used toothpicks and tiny artist brushes - nothing works for me

I use a trick a body shop person passed on. Use the torn end of a gopher match. Dab a little paint on and if it doesn't look good wipe off immediately with a clean cloth and try again. It will never be perfect because you can never match the original paint depth. With a little practice it will look better than the pitted paint.

Funny you should mention that. I recently tried touching up a spot on my rig. Naturally, I ended up with a blob of touch up paint that looked like #c$^&!
Can't remember where, but somewhere on this forum a product was mentioned that helps with touch ups. I ordered some, tried it yesterday, and it worked!! Got rid of my blob and didn't hurt the original paint. It somehow dissolves touch up paint but not the original paint. I got carried away and removed too much touch up paint so I'll have to start over, but I think it's a workable solution. The product is here

Consider your "washing machine track record" I'd have a body shop take a look and get an estimate.

When at Winnebago they use the end of a paper towel twisted up to lightly place the paint on a nick...do not use the brush in the bottle it will leave a glob.

I have 03 Journey with full body paint, where do you get the touch up paint?
I have not been able to find it.
Thanks,

Tom,
CDI, LLC
305 Nerem Dr.

They did the full body paint on '04s & 05s, so I assume they also did the 03s. They charge $35 in cluding S&H. That's for 4 colors plus a bottle of clear coat. Give them a call, very nice to deal with.

I haven't had the need to open a bootle of Winne supplied touchup paint. Is there a brush in each bottle????
