Hey bivt,

We had a 2000 Jetta TDI 5sp.which we towed about 40,000 miles 4 down with no problems. We recently sold that car, but the new owner is towing it as well. they have never had any problems at all either.

Cheers

I don't know why we don't get any tow info from VW.I too am interested in towing a TDI.

I think the future of highway energy in America is with the farmers and Biodiesel. I want to be 100% diesel.

If it works for Willie Nelson, why not for me. A co-worker has a Golf TDI and is converting used peanut oil from our campus to biodiesel. He has not bought a gallon from the pump in almost a year. His car runs really great.

What about the automatic TDI,any hope there?

Thanks for the replies. Both you guys seem really smart so I guess I'll go ahead and sell the saturn.
