Towing Capacity

I was looking at the specifications for a 2006 Winnebago Sightseer 30B, with the Workhouse chassis, and it listed the towing capacity at 4,000 lbs. My 2004 says 5,000 lbs. What would have caused the difference?

Where are you seeing the change? Looking at the brochures I see both the 2004 and 2006 have an 18,000 pound GVWR, 22,000 pound GCWR, and a 5,000 pound hitch?

22,000-18,000 = 4,000. Your hitch is 5,000. The lowest # is your tow rating.
